What you need to get started

Check that you have everything before you start.

Set up your Waga cap in four steps

Follow each step in order to get your cap ready.

Charge the speaker modules

Leave the speaker modules on the cap. You don’t need to take them off. If you ever want to remove them, slide the speaker modules up and off the black plastic attachments.
The USB cable has two magnetic ends. Hold each one against the small metal dots on each speaker module until they magnetically snap into place.
Plug the other end into a USB-A wall adapter or computer. Use a standard 5V (1A–2A) USB adapter. A stronger adapter may damage the speaker modules.
The small light on each speaker module turns on while it charges and turns off once it is fully charged. The speaker modules turn off automatically while they charge.

What the light means while charging

Fully charged

A full charge takes about 1.5 hours and lasts about 8 hours. If you hear “Battery is low” or the light blinks fast, charge them promptly.

Turn on the speaker modules for Bluetooth pairing

Press and hold the small power button on top of both speaker modules for 3 seconds until you hear “Waga power on.”
The Waga cap will automatically go into Bluetooth pairing mode after both speaker modules are turned on.
Move to the next step once both speaker module lights start to flash and you hear “Ready for pairing.”

Tips for Bluetooth pairing

Make sure you hear “Waga power on” from both speaker modules.
If no light turns on, press and hold the power buttons again for 3 seconds. If that doesn’t work, charge the speaker modules (Step 1).

Connect to your phone with Bluetooth

Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings. On iPhone, go to Settings, then Bluetooth.
Look for “WAGA Champion” in the Bluetooth device list. This is your Waga cap’s Bluetooth name.
Tap “WAGA Champion.” When it says Connected, your cap is paired.

Get the Greyer app (iPhone only)

Your Waga cap comes with lifetime access to the Greyer app. Alia, your AI assistant, lives inside it and helps plan your day, do tasks on your behalf and more.

Search “Greyer” in the App Store or tap the button below, then create your account in the app.

Not using an iPhone? Your cap still works for music and calls over Bluetooth.

How to use your Waga cap

What you can do once your cap is set up.

Talk to your AI assistant

Open Alia, your AI assistant, in the Greyer app while your cap is connected over Bluetooth. Tap the voice button for Alia to chat out loud without using your phone.

Record and take notes

Start a recording in the Greyer app and your cap's mics will pick up your conversations. Alia saves the recording with summaries and notes in the Greyer app.

Listen to music

Play music, podcasts or anything else from your phone and hear it through the cap’s speakers. Press the small power button once to play or pause. Double press the left side for the previous song and the right side for the next. Change the volume on your phone.

Take calls

Take calls hands-free. You’ll hear the call through the cap’s speakers and talk through its mics. Double press the small power button to answer or hang up. Press and hold for 2 seconds to decline a call.
